The notice requires strengthening supervision of production and sales links. Increase supervision and inspection of bulk food production enterprises such as rice, flour, oil, meat, eggs and milk, as well as large food sales chain enterprises, food wholesale enterprises, shopping malls and supermarkets. We must strengthen supervision of catering services. Focus on chain catering service enterprises, collective dining distribution enterprises, central kitchens, school canteens, designated tourist reception units, farmhouses, agricultural wholesale (trade) markets, etc., focus on tourist attractions, commercial areas, stations, docks and highway service areas, and focus on online catering and other business formats, strengthen food safety risk investigation and comprehensive management of hidden dangers in the catering service link, and strictly prevent food safety accidents. We must strengthen food sampling and monitoring. Organize special sampling of hot-selling foods such as rice dumplings, and promptly check and deal with foods that fail the sampling inspection as required to effectively prevent and control food safety risks.
The notice emphasized that all localities should crack down on illegal and irregular behaviors strictly and quickly in accordance with the law and regulations, strictly implement punishments to individuals, and all suspected crimes will be transferred to the public security organs for criminal responsibility; they should promptly issue festival-related food safety consumption tips, do a good job in anti-food waste publicity and guidance, and promptly accept and deal with consumer complaints and reports; they should strictly implement the requirements of food safety emergency duty and other systems, and actively and steadily handle food safety emergencies.
