Mao Ning said that China has indisputable sovereignty over the Nansha Islands and their adjacent waters. The Philippines has exceeded its own territorial scope, illegally designated the so-called "Kalayaan Island Group", and so-called named the relevant islands and reefs of China's Nansha Islands, infringing on China's territorial sovereignty, violating the United Nations Charter and relevant international laws. China firmly opposes the Philippines' infringement of China's sovereignty and rights and interests, and will take necessary measures to resolutely defend its territorial sovereignty and maritime rights and interests in the South China Sea.
