Today (April 17), the China Nuclear Energy Industry Association released the "China Nuclear Energy Development Report 2026" blue book. The blue book shows that as of now, my country has 60 commercially operated nuclear power units and 36 nuclear power units under construction. The scale of nuclear power under construction accounts for more than half of the world. At the same time, there are 16 units approved to be built. The scale of nuclear power installations continues to grow, with the total installed capacity reaching 125 million kilowatts, ranking first in the world.

This year, my country has started construction of 2 nuclear power units and will build 7 nuclear power units. The scale of nuclear power plants under construction continues to lead the world.
