On the morning of the 8th, a Hebei bus starting from Dachang County, Langfang, Hebei Province arrived at Lucheng Station of Beijing Metro Line 6, located in Tongzhou District, Beijing. Passengers commuting across provinces can transfer to rail transit and quickly enter Beijing urban area.
According to reports, the bus routes entering and leaving Beijing in the Beijing area were previously operated by Beijing bus companies. In order to further serve the rapid commuting needs of residents of Dachang, Langfang, Hebei, the Beijing Municipal Transportation Commission, in conjunction with relevant departments of Langfang, Hebei and Tongzhou District, Beijing, has promoted the launch of the first bus route to Beijing operated by foreign bus companies.
Zhao Yang, director of the Coordinated Development Department of the Beijing Municipal Transportation Commission, introduced that the route has 12 stations in the middle of the road, operating during the morning and evening rush hour commuting period, with 18 departures a day, with a 20-minute departure interval, and a single ticket system is implemented, and passengers can enjoy the same preferential policies as those of Dachang County buses. This not only provides cross-regional commuters with new efficient and economical travel options, but will also form an effective complement to the already opened custom express buses and commuting buses.
Zhao Yang said that Beijing will continue to plan innovative measures for transportation integration and give full play to the leading role of transportation in promoting regional coordinated development. In the next step, we will continue to work with the transportation departments of Tianjin and Hebei, and promote the pilot experience to Wuqing and Gu'an and other regions around Beijing, and promote the continuous deepening and practical development strategy of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei.
