In recent years, all parts of the country have actively innovated and practiced, empowered the deep integration of culture and tourism with science and technology at a wider range, deeper level, and higher level, and achieved remarkable results in promoting economic development, serving a better life, and inheriting excellent culture. The Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China pointed out that we should explore effective mechanisms for the integration of culture and science and technology and accelerate the development of new cultural formats. Science and technology are the primary productive forces. Accelerating scientific and technological innovation, promoting the integration of business formats, filling in factor shortcomings, and adhering to green development is not only the only way to high-quality development of the cultural and tourism industry, but also an important support for continuously meeting the people's new expectations for a better life.

Technology helps to dig deep into cultural enrichment and activate new vitality of traditional culture. First, digital technology provides convenience for people to acquire traditional cultural knowledge and experience, transforming relatively complex content into image symbols based on sensory experience, lowering the threshold for cultural cognition and popularization. Second, the development of media technology has enabled information dissemination to break through the limitations of physical space, and has realized new changes in cultural and tourism dissemination from one-way output to multi-directional interaction, from static display to dynamic experience, from subject creation to co-creation of subjects and guests, and has promoted the enrichment of cultural and tourism formats and content dissemination. Third, technologies such as virtual reality and augmented reality build immersive communication scenarios, and through technologies such as motion capture, cultural memory can be made from "eye to "body recording", truly bringing tourists closer to traditional culture in an immersive experience.

In the digital age, there are more possibilities for the reproduction of cultural resources. Many cultural and creative products of Henan cultural and tourism are examples of cultural resources transforming creatively through digital technology to achieve value appreciation. Cultural resources, cultural spirit, and cultural symbols are integrated into life through cultural and creative products, and while innovating cultural inheritance methods, the commercial value of traditional culture can be explored. The development of digital technology has made social mobilization more and more powerful, driving the development and evolution of new tourism formats such as leisure travel, rural travel, and industrial travel. The sharing attributes of social media transform tourists' private memories into public topics, embed cultural experience into daily life scenes, and further reconstruct the boundaries of life, travel and social through model innovations of online traffic and offline experience.

Therefore, the development of cultural and tourism industry can focus on technological empowerment, making digital and intelligent technology an important driving force for the development of cultural and tourism industry. Breaking through the boundaries of traditional industries and using technology to work hard on new products, new scenarios, new experiences, new expressions, etc. has become an important link in the exploration and practice of cultural and tourism integration in various places. For example, Kaifeng's "Flying Over the River Over the Qingming Festival" and Wuhan's "Attacking the Yellow Crane Tower at Night" project build visual space through laser projection technology to achieve the integration of physical space, cultural symbols and emotional experience. Digital technology can also help provide better cultural and tourism services. Dunhuang AR (Augmented Reality) glasses guide uses augmented reality technology to break through the single text limitation of cultural relics interpretation, transforming mural stories from flat symbols to sensible three-dimensional images; Hunan Museum uses AI (artificial intelligence) to restore "Madam Xin Zhui" and transform archaeological research into interactive scenes, realizing the upgrade of cultural communication from "one-way indoctrination" to "embodied participation".

In the future, we should continue to use digital technology to serve scenario innovation, accelerate the digital and intelligent transformation of cultural and tourism, transform the advantages of cultural resources into development advantages, and transform the new look of cultural and tourism integration into new driving force for economic and social development.
