China Film Group issued an obituary today, Comrade Yu Yang, an outstanding member of the Communist Party of China, a national first-class actor of China Film Group Corporation, one of the "Twenty-Two Major Movie Stars" in New China, a famous film director, an artist with outstanding contributions to the country, and a member of the Eighth and Ninth Committees of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, died at 20:30 on March 1, 2025 at the China-Japan Friendship Hospital in Beijing at the age of 94.
