Xinhua News Agency, Beijing, March 1 Title: Get off the bus and "get work" will be launched. Beijing's spring breeze sends jobs to start the "employment express train"
Xinhua News Agency reporter Chen Xu
At the beginning of the second month of the lunar calendar, the passenger service center of the North Exit No. 3 of the second floor of the underground subway at Beijing West Station was crowded with people, and a unique job fair slowed down passengers from south to north. The special job fair for the 2025 Spring Breeze Action "Employment Express" hosted by the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security and the Beijing Key Stations Management Committee was held here. Nearly 100 companies brought more than 3,000 positions to "enter" the train station, making it a reality for job seekers to "seek a job when they leave the station and get off the train when they get off the train."
The first stop became an "employment station"
At 1 pm, Li Wei, a fresh master's graduate who arrived in Beijing from Chongqing, just left the high-speed rail car with his suitcase and was attracted by the recruitment information on the electronic large screen in the station. She pushed her suitcase through the crowd and headed straight to the recruitment booth. "I didn't expect that I could submit my resume at the train station." Li Wei said that he happened to come to Beijing to find a job, so he pushed his suitcase and interviewed three companies.

Why did you open a job fair into the train station? Du Yang, director of the Beijing Job Introduction Service Center, introduced that Beijing West Station has a large flow of people, which is the first stop for many job seekers to come to Beijing to find employment. The recruitment activities are held at the West Station to deliver public employment services to the train station so that job seekers can see their jobs as soon as they arrive in Beijing and find jobs after getting off the bus.
Spring comes early when people work hard. This job fair, located at the railway station, has brought convenience to college students and migrant workers. "I have rich internship experience and can be fully qualified for operational work. Please check out my resume." Xiao Wu, a graduate from Handan, was interviewing on the spot with his resume. After learning from the Internet that the job fair was held at Beijing West Railway Station, she took the high-speed rail to interview. "You can directly attend the job fair by getting off the bus, which greatly reduces the time and economic costs, which is very convenient," she said.
Employment Service Zero Distance
At the job fair, a "public employment service area" about 20 meters long was particularly eye-catching, and career guidance experts carried out one-to-one career guidance, resume modification and career assessment for job seekers on the spot. "I was originally a salesman, but now I want to change the track." "I am a 'new mother' and want to find a relatively relaxed job." "I am 60 years old this year and I want to work for another year."... The career instructor gave advice on the spot to help them plan their careers better.

"What should I do if I don't bring my resume?" The concerns of fresh graduate Zhang Shuoshuo were resolved on the spot. Many job seekers who "accidentally encounter" job fairs do not prepare resumes. The job fairs have set up a "one-click resume generation" service to scan the QR code to fill in the basic information, and can generate an electronic resume online and submit it in time. "I didn't expect technology to make job search more convenient," said Zhang Shuoshuo.
The reporter found at the scene that each recruitment booth was equipped with a unified laptop for use by enterprises. According to the on-site staff, in order to improve efficiency, job information is posted online in advance for the event. Job seekers can use their mobile phone to screen their intended positions and submit job search information online. Enterprises can use laptops to review and screen resumes on site, which greatly improves recruitment efficiency while ensuring the security of personal information.

Breaking through the "last mile" of employment
This job fair is not only a job docking platform, but also a "microscope" to observe the employment market. From 12 noon to 4 pm, the originally planned two-hour recruitment activity doubled. Faced with the enthusiasm of job seekers, the company quickly adjusted its strategy and added some positions to the recruitment list.
Wu Yuntao, a staff member of Derun Xinfeng (Beijing) Labor Dispatch Co., Ltd., introduced that he thought there would not be many people to apply for the job, but the result exceeded expectations. More than 20 people have reached employment intentions. After the job fair, some migrant workers will follow him to the company.
Li Shiyuan, 48, from Guyuan, Ningxia, is one of them. "I find a job as soon as I get off the train. This year's days are really growing." Li Shiyuan said with a smile.
According to statistics, more than 3,500 people participated in the job fair, the employer received 1,470 resumes, and 517 people initially reached employment intentions.
A train of trains slowly entered the station, and a new group of dream chasers flocked into the crowd with expectations. This job fair held at the railway station is using the "Beijing temperature" to illuminate the future for those who are struggling.
The list of key tasks for the 2025 Beijing Municipal Government Work Report clearly states that a three-year action plan for improving public employment in the capital is issued, and the construction of the National Public Employment Service Regional Center (Beijing) will be promoted with high standards. During this year's Spring Breeze Action, Beijing continues to increase efforts to organize job solicitation and recruitment activities. From February to March, it will organize about 550 online and offline recruitment activities to meet the diversified employment needs of job seekers.
