On the occasion of the 62nd Memorial Day for Learning from Lei Feng, the 2025 National "Learning from Lei Feng, Civilization Practice My Action" theme event jointly sponsored by the Central Office of Spiritual Civilization Construction, the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, the All-China Women's Federation, the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the Chinese Association for Science and Technology, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and the National Health Commission was officially launched in Changsha, Hunan, the hometown of Lei Feng.
At the launch ceremony, the national advanced models of Lei Feng and volunteers of civilized practice shared their thoughts and experiences, arousing strong resonance among the masses. Literary and artistic programs such as "We are all Lei Feng" and "Flowers Bloom in a New Era" vividly interpret the contemporary connotation of Lei Feng's spirit. The theme film played on site shows the vivid scenes of learning Lei Feng’s civilized practice across the country, creating a strong atmosphere of learning from Lei Feng, respecting morality and goodness, and striving to be a pioneer.
On the day of the event, Changsha City simultaneously carried out various types of mass learning Lei Feng civilized practice services. Relying on the civilized practice base, it held various forms of learning Lei Feng activities such as free health clinics, legal aid, psychological counseling, cultural benefit to the people, popular science publicity, and safety education, providing warm and targeted services, which were widely welcomed by the citizens.
It is understood that the theme activity of "Learn from Lei Feng, Civilized Practice My Action" will continue to be carried out nationwide. All localities and relevant departments will organize and carry out various activities such as special exhibitions, art performances, experience exchanges, and heartwarming services based on actual conditions and focus on the theme of civilized practice.
