In an aluminum production enterprise in Gongyi Advanced Manufacturing Development Zone, workers are busy making orders for aluminum plates from overseas. In order to improve production efficiency, this year, the company invested 20 million yuan to upgrade and transform the equipment.

The company's head introduced that this is the newly put into use of intelligent quenching line this year. Compared with the original equipment, the production capacity has increased from 150 tons per day to 200 tons. The products are mainly used in aerospace, electronic equipment, medical devices and other fields. It is now the peak season for production and sales, and the products are exported to Europe, Southeast Asia and other places in large quantities.

It is understood that aluminum processing is the leading industry in Gongyi City. At present, there are 137 large-scale aluminum processing enterprises in the local area, and more than 6 million tons of aluminum processing products are sent from here to all parts of the world every year, forming an industrial cluster with an output value of over 100 billion yuan.

According to Beijing Customs, in 2024, the foreign trade scale of private enterprises in Beijing exceeded 400 billion yuan for the first time. Among them, the import and export scale of high-tech products exceeded 190 billion yuan, an increase of 23.2%. This year, Beijing Customs continues to carry out special actions to facilitate cross-border trade, proposes 20 measures to promote steady volume and quality improvement of foreign trade, continues to deepen service trade in comprehensive bonded areas, optimize customs clearance processes and intelligent supervision, and help enterprises further reduce trade costs and barriers and improve cross-border trade facilitation.
