Same as in previous years, this year's National People's Congress and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference News Center has set up multiple functional areas, among which the press room and interview room have been arranged.
During this year's Two Sessions, the Press Office will hold several press conferences. Chinese and foreign journalists can follow the website of the News Center of the Two Sessions and the notices posted on the WeChat public account to understand the schedule and content of each press conference.
The reporter learned that more than 3,000 Chinese and foreign journalists have registered for interviews with the National Two Sessions, including more than 2,000 domestic journalists, more than 1,000 Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan journalists and foreign journalists. The number of journalists has increased further compared with last year. The domestic journalist group, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan journalist group and foreign journalist group of the News Center of the Two Sessions are ready to provide services to Chinese and foreign journalists. During the meeting, an electronic version of the main meeting documents will be provided to Chinese and foreign journalists, and media reporters do not need to wait in line for a long time on site to receive them. A news center interview room will also be set up at the residence of the representatives and deputies to provide convenient services for the representatives and deputies to accept media interviews.
