The quality of railway logistics products and services has been upgraded, making positive contributions to smooth the domestic and international dual circulation and ensuring the stable operation of the national economy.
The head of the Freight Department of China Railway Group said that in the first half of the year, China Railway Group fully utilized the advantages of centralized and unified command of the national railway network and dispatch, continued to deepen the market-oriented reform of railway freight, and continuously improved the efficiency of railway logistics capabilities and service quality. The railway department continues to focus on key projects such as the transportation of western coal in the east, the transportation of northern coal in the south, the transportation of Xinjiang coal in the south, the direct access of iron ore in the south of Shanxi Province and the direct access of Northeast grain in the northeast, opens green channels to ensure efficient delivery, and helps usher in peak summer and the development of key industries. From January to June, the national railway sent 1.02 billion tons of coal, of which 695 million tons of electric coal were 695 million tons, and the coal storage in railway direct power plants remained at a high level. At the same time, railway logistics products and services have been upgraded, and the logistics general contracting services have been vigorously developed.
