What the Asia-Pacific region needs most is peace and tranquility; what it needs least is the introduction of external forces and the creation of division and confrontation.

Guo Jiakun said that military security cooperation between countries should not damage mutual understanding and trust among regional countries, should not undermine regional peace and stability, and should not target third parties or harm the interests of third parties.
