When Xi Jinping arrived by car, Ibrahim and Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar warmly greeted him at the get off. The heads of state of the two countries took to the reviewing stand, the military band played the national anthems of China and Malaysia, and 21 salutes were sounded. Xi Jinping inspected the guard of honor. The heads of state entered the lobby of the National Palace and shook hands with the accompanying staff on both sides.

Xi Jinping stressed that China and Malaysia should continue to deepen political mutual trust and support each other on issues involving each other's core interests and major concerns. We must deepen the docking of development strategies, complement each other's strengths, benefit and win-win results, and work together to walk the path of modernization. Build major projects such as "two countries and two parks" and East Coast Railway, and speed up the cultivation of future industrial cooperation such as artificial intelligence, digital economy, and green economy. China welcomes more Malaysian high-quality agricultural products to enter the Chinese market and encourages Chinese companies to invest and do business in Malaysia. Ibrahim said that President Xi Jinping's state visit to Malaysia is a major event in the relationship between the two countries, fully demonstrating the high level of Malaysia-China relations.
