The reporter learned from the Southern Power Grid yesterday (13th) that the construction of a new power system in the southern region has been accelerated. At present, the total installed capacity of new energy in the five provinces and regions of Guangdong, Guangxi, Yunnan, Guizhou and Hainan has exceeded 200 million kilowatts.
As of now, the total installed capacity of new energy in the operating area of the Southern Power Grid has reached 202 million kilowatts, accounting for 36.6% of the total installed capacity of various power supplies. New energy's position as the largest power supply continues to be stable. Among them, the installed capacity of wind power is 62.16 million kilowatts, the installed capacity of photovoltaic capacity is 129.65 million kilowatts, and the installed capacity of biomass is 9.46 million kilowatts.
At present, the penetration rate of new energy power in the operating area of the Southern Power Grid reaches 56.5%, which means that during the peak period of new energy consumption, more than one kilowatt-hour comes from new energy every two kilowatt-hours.
By region, Guangxi's new energy installed capacity accounts for the highest proportion, accounting for nearly 50% of the total installed capacity of the power supply in the region; Yunnan's new energy installed capacity has the fastest growth rate, and since the 14th Five-Year Plan, the average annual growth rate has reached 47%.
