The approved area for sea and island use nationwide is 262,000 hectares, a year-on-year increase of 19.2%.
The development of my country's main traditional marine industries has been good in the first three quarters. The number of new orders, completions and orders on hand for marine vessels continues to lead the world.
The development of emerging marine industries has accelerated, and the marine engineering equipment manufacturing industry has developed steadily. The construction of the "Blue Granary" is progressing steadily, and domestic marine aquatic product production has increased by 4.8% year-on-year, of which mariculture production has increased by 5.7% year-on-year.
