A: China firmly opposes the UK’s listing of 11 Chinese companies on the grounds of Russian involvement. Regarding the Ukraine crisis, China has always strictly controlled the export of dual-use items in accordance with laws and regulations. Normal exchanges and cooperation between Chinese and Russian enterprises should not be disrupted or affected. The British approach is unilateral sanctions that have no basis in international law or authorization from the United Nations. The British side ignored China's negotiations and the momentum of good development of Sino-British economic and trade relations, and insisted on listing Chinese companies, which had a negative impact on Sino-British economic and trade relations. China urges the UK to proceed from the overall interests of China-UK economic and trade cooperation, immediately correct its wrong practices, and lift sanctions on relevant Chinese entities.
