According to regulations, Chinese tourism groups composed of three or more people can enjoy visa-free entry treatment, with a maximum stay time of 15 days.
The Jeju area continues to maintain the original visa-free policy. Chinese individual and group tourists can enter the country without visa and stay in the area for 30 days.
This measure introduced by the South Korean government to promote the recovery of the tourism industry is expected to attract a large number of Chinese tourists to South Korea during the implementation of the policy. Industry analysts believe that although the number of tourists may not immediately increase significantly in the early stage of the visa-free policy trial, the policy effect will gradually emerge by the end of this year.
