CCTV News (News Network): Recently, the reporter learned from relevant naval departments that the J-15T, J-35 and KJ-600 three-type carrier-based aircraft that were parade at the conference commemorating the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War have completed their first catapult takeoff and landing training on the Fujian ship, marking that the Fujian ship has electromagnetic catapult and recovery capabilities.

In the previous multiple trial training tasks organized, several Navy pilots flew these three carrier-based aircraft and successfully took off and landed on the Fujian ship, verifying the good adaptability of the electromagnetic catapult and blocking system that my country has fully developed independently with multiple carrier-based aircraft, so that the Fujian ship initially has the full-deck operation capability, laying a good foundation for the subsequent integration of various carrier-based aircraft into the aircraft carrier formation system. In recent years, the naval ship-based aviation industry has accelerated its development, completing a huge leap from stand-alone aircraft to system, from shore to ship basis, from sliding leap to catapult, from flying to war. The People's Navy is moving steadily towards the comprehensive construction of a world-class navy. The successful ejection takeoff and blocking of the J-15T, J-35 and KJ-600 three carrier-based aircraft are another breakthrough in the development of my country's aircraft carriers and are of milestone significance for promoting naval transformation and construction. It is understood that since the first sea trial in May 2024, Fujian ships have carried out various sea trials in an orderly manner as planned, and have successfully promoted the debugging of various types of equipment and overall operation stability tests.
