The yield level of early rice has improved. The yield of early rice exceeded 400 kilograms for the first time, achieving a yield of 400.8 kilograms per mu, an increase of 5.8 kilograms per mu over the previous year, an increase of 1.5%.
This year, the drought in some areas was severe during spring sowing, which affected the timely transplantation of early rice. However, with a series of policies, early rice sowing still remained stable, with the sowing area reaching 71.143 million mu, stable at about 71 million mu for six consecutive years.
