During the 14th Five-Year Plan period, the State Immigration Administration implemented the application for "only go to once" and "nation-wide service" for residents' entry and exit documents, and achieved "only online service" and "no one time" for reissue and reissue in 20 pilot cities; a total of more than 300 million people have issued various entry and exit documents for Chinese citizens, and the number of citizens holding valid ordinary passports has exceeded 160 million.
During the 14th Five-Year Plan period, border inspection agencies across the country have inspected and released 1.556 billion inbound and outbound personnel, and more than 98 million transportation vehicles (ships/cars/vehicles) in total. They have continuously optimized the fast customs clearance of border inspections, piloted the "intelligent customs clearance" border inspection fast channel, implemented measures such as "zero wait" operations of international cargo ships and "zero delay" inspection and release. The customs clearance time of Chinese and foreign inbound and outbound personnel and transportation vehicles has been greatly reduced. China has become one of the countries with the most efficient port customs clearance efficiency in the world.
