In a shipyard on Changxing Island, Shanghai, the reporter noticed that workers were operating the gantry crane and assembled and welded the hull, and the teams were working hard. In the dock and dock, there are several LNG ships under construction at the same time.
The shipyard said that the number of LNG ships delivered this year will hit an all-time high. According to the deputy director of the Hudong China Development Research Institute of China Shipbuilding Corporation, orders for more than 10 LNG ships are expected to be delivered this year. Now there are about 60 LNG ships in handheld orders, with a total value of about 150 billion yuan. The current schedule is scheduled until 2031.
