CCTV News (News Network): The State Council Information Office held a regular policy briefing on May 27, and the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, the State Administration for Market Regulation and other departments introduced relevant measures to deepen reform and innovation in national-level economic and technological development zones.
The Ministry of Commerce stated that 16 policy measures will be introduced in four aspects: opening up to the outside world and developing new quality productivity, so as to promote high-quality development of the Economic and Technological Development Zone with high-level opening up. Encourage foreign investment in the fields of biomedicine, high-end manufacturing, support digital service exports, and build industrial clusters and international hub logistics centers for the integration of domestic and foreign trade. Increase the authorization of pioneering and trial, support coordinated development with the free trade pilot zone, and guide the implementation of the deferred tax payment policy for profit reinvestment of foreign-funded enterprises. Support the layout of industrial science and technology innovation platforms, build high-standard digital parks, smart factories, computing power infrastructure, etc.
The Ministry of Ecology and Environment stated that it encourages the development of green electricity and the creation of carbon peak pilot parks. The State Administration for Market Regulation stated that it will vigorously promote the formation of "efficiently do one thing" matters with regional characteristics and further optimize the business environment.
