On May 13, Chinese President Xi Jinping attended the opening ceremony of the 4th Ministerial Session of the China-Latin America Forum and delivered a keynote speech. Xi Jinping announced that China is willing to work with Latin America to launch five major projects, seek common development and revitalization, and jointly build a community with a shared future between China and Latin America. He stressed that no matter how the international situation changes, China will always be a good friend and partner of Latin America and the Caribbean countries.
Ten years ago, at the opening ceremony of the first ministerial meeting of the China-Latin America Forum, President Xi Jinping used "a young seedling that broke through the ground" to describe the China-Latin America Forum. Over the past decade, under the guidance of the head of state diplomatic strategy, and carefully cultivated by both sides, this "teenage seedling" has "grown into a tall tree." People from all walks of life in Latin America believe that the Latin American Forum has produced fruitful results over the past ten years. Although the forms of civilization are different, the two sides have always been equal and mutual trust, which has created a deep friendship of unity, cooperation, friendship and mutual assistance, and has clearly conveyed the strong voice of the era of win-win cooperation to the international community.
