CCTV News (News Network): The latest value-added tax invoice data of the State Administration of Taxation shows that in April, the growth rate of national corporate sales revenue accelerated, with a year-on-year increase of 4.3%.
In terms of classification, in April, sales revenue of industrial enterprises increased by 3.7% year-on-year, of which sales revenue of manufacturing increased by 4.4% year-on-year. Driven by policies such as "two new" and other policies, sales revenue in manufacturing industries such as electrical machinery, computers, instruments and meters increased by more than 12%. Sales revenue of high-tech industries and core industries of the digital economy that represent new quality productivity has maintained double-digit growth.
Project construction in various places is also accelerating, with sales revenue of construction industry increasing by 6.5% year-on-year, especially sales revenue of civil engineering construction industry reflecting infrastructure investment increasing by 11.6% year-on-year.
By region, the eastern region grew rapidly, with corporate sales revenue increasing by 4.8% year-on-year. Among them, sales revenue in Zhejiang, Guangdong and Beijing increased by 7.3%, 6.6% and 5.4% year-on-year respectively. In particular, innovative industries such as artificial intelligence have achieved accelerated development.
