2025-05-18 source:CCTV News

The reporter learned from the Ministry of Natural Resources today (15th) that in recent years, natural resources departments in various places have made every effort to resolve the historical problems of real estate registration. The country has resolved more than 20 million houses with historical problems, and various prominent problems have been effectively resolved.

The Ministry of Natural Resources stated that in response to historical problems involving real estate registration such as imperfect land use procedures, loss of development entities, inconsistent real estate information, natural resources authorities at all levels have actively issued policy documents to help the people solve urgent and anxious problems such as difficulty in asset transfer and difficulty in school settlement. Up to now, the country has resolved more than 20 million houses left over from historical problems, benefiting more than 50 million people. Especially since 2024, the country has resolved more than 3.4 million sets of various cross-departmental "hard bones" problems that have been accumulated over a long period of time.

At the same time, nearly 2,100 districts and counties across the country handled a total of 507,000 "security transfer" transactions, involving a total of more than 640 billion yuan in sellers' mortgages, effectively reducing the transaction costs of enterprises and the public and providing guarantees for banks and other financial institutions to prevent financial risks. More than 2,200 counties and cities have implemented the reform of "delivery upon delivery of the house" for newly built commercial housing projects, covering more than 8 million houses in more than 90,000 projects, and more than 18 million people received real estate certificates while receiving the keys for the new house.

The Ministry of Natural Resources stated that the next step will further strengthen policy supply, continue to guide local governments to make good use of policy documents according to local conditions, establish and improve long-term mechanisms to resolve daily and prevent new problems, and continue to promote the resolution of historical problems left over from real estate registration.
