CCTV News: The latest value-added tax invoice data of the State Administration of Taxation shows that in April, the growth rate of national corporate sales revenue accelerated, with a year-on-year increase of 4.3%, continuing the steady growth trend since the fourth quarter of last year, and the economy continued to rebound and improve.
Data shows that in April, the sales revenue of industrial enterprises nationwide increased by 3.7% year-on-year, of which the sales revenue of manufacturing industries increased by 4.4% year-on-year. It was mainly driven by policies such as "two new" and other policies. Sales revenue in industries such as electrical machinery, computer manufacturing, instruments and meters all maintained double-digit growth. New quality productivity is accelerating its development, and sales revenue of high-tech industries and core industries of the digital economy has increased by 15.3% and 13.4% year-on-year respectively. Project construction in various places is accelerating, with sales revenue in the construction industry increasing by 6.5% year-on-year, especially sales revenue in the civil engineering construction industry reflecting infrastructure investment increased by 11.6% year-on-year.
In terms of region, in April, sales revenue of enterprises in the eastern region increased by 4.8% year-on-year. Among them, the sales revenue of enterprises in Zhejiang, Guangdong and Beijing increased by 7.3%, 6.6% and 5.4% year-on-year respectively, which was significantly faster than the national average. Especially under the driving force of innovative industries such as artificial intelligence, equipment manufacturing and high-tech industries have achieved accelerated development.
In addition, in April, enterprises with export business to the United States actively expanded the domestic sales market, with domestic sales increasing by 4.7% year-on-year. The domestic sales of export companies to the United States in 21 industries increased in the same period last year, among which the domestic sales of fur products and shoemaking industries increased by 10 percentage points in the same period last year, and the domestic sales of computer communication equipment, ferrous metals, furniture and food industries increased by more than 5 percentage points in the same period last year.
