At 10:40 on May 14, with the sound of the departure order, a transportation convoy carrying electronic components, fresh vegetables and department stores departed simultaneously from Nanning, Guangxi and Kunming, Yunnan to Hanoi, Vietnam. This marks the first time that Chinese freight vehicles have entered the hinterland of Vietnam with certificates of the Greater Mekong Subregion Convenient Cargo and Personnel (CBTA).
The international road transportation route from China to Hanoi, Vietnam was officially opened, and two transportation routes were connected to Hanoi, Vietnam through the Hekou Port and the Friendship Pass Port.
This direct transportation adopts the "one box to the end" and "one vehicle to the end" model, giving full play to the advantages of point-to-point, high efficiency and low turnover of road transportation. Compared with the traditional transportation model, each truck can save about 1 day and cost can save 800 to 1,000 yuan. The transportation timeliness has been greatly improved, and the level of facilitation of international road transportation in China and Vietnam has been further improved.
