CCTV News: According to the WeChat public account of the Central Cyberspace Affairs Office Reporting Center, in April 2025, the Central Cyberspace Affairs Office Reporting Center guided the reporting departments and major websites at all levels across the country to accept 17.999 million illegal and bad information such as pornography, gambling, infringement, rumors, etc. from netizens, a decrease of 2.6% month-on-month and 10.4% year-on-year. Among them, the Central Cyberspace Affairs Office's Reporting Center accepted 410,000 reports, a month-on-month increase of 4.9% and a year-on-year decrease of 3.8%; the Internet Information Reporting Departments in various places accepted 619,000 reports, a month-on-month decrease of 24.9% and a year-on-year decrease of 59.0%; the major website platforms across the country accepted 16.969 million reports, a month-on-month decrease of 1.7% and a year-on-year decrease of 6.5%.
Among the reports received by major website platforms across the country, the number of major commercial website platforms accepted 15.508 million, accounting for 91.4%.
