Recently, General Secretary Xi Jinping emphasized during his inspection in Guizhou that party organizations at all levels should carefully organize and implement it, and promote party members and cadres to strengthen their determination and develop habits, and use good work style to unite their hearts and efforts to do things and start businesses. Stimulating the endogenous motivation for party members and cadres to do things and start businesses is not only an important manifestation of the sense of mission, career and responsibility of party members and cadres, but also a key support to drive them to deal with complex situations, overcome difficulties and obstacles, and promote their career progress. Accurately grasping and understanding the profound connotation of doing things and starting businesses is of great significance to boost the spirit of enterprising and pioneering and innovative party members and cadres, persevering in implementing the spirit of the Central Eight Regulations, and promoting the continuous improvement of the Party's work style.

In the process of Chinese-style modernization, doing things and entrepreneurship is the internal driving force to inspire and maintain the courage to take responsibility and take positive actions of the majority of party members and cadres. It is deeply rooted in the thoughts, emotions and values ​​of party members and cadres. The endogenous motivation for doing things and entrepreneurship is essentially a spiritual pursuit and an important manifestation of the combination of Marxist scientific theory with the excellent traditional Chinese culture. Human needs are the internal motivation for carrying out all activities. In practice, if you want to grow and achieve something, you must fully tap into your inner enthusiasm in order to enhance the courage and confidence to do things and dare to do things. China's excellent traditional culture provides a rich cultural foundation for the endogenous motivation of party members and cadres to do things and start businesses. For example, the enterprising spirit of "self-improvement" gives us the resilience to break through difficulties, the idea of ​​"unity of knowledge and action" bridges the distance between people's cognition and action, and the responsibility ethics of "cultivating, unity of integrity and governance" encourages us to sublimate our personal pursuits into mission responsibility. These cultural values ​​give us a distinct background and rich spiritual nourishment to work and start businesses.

Looking back to history, we can see that the endogenous driving force for doing things and starting businesses runs through the Party’s more than a hundred years of struggle. During the New Democratic Revolution, countless people with lofty ideals devoted themselves to the revolution without hesitation, not afraid of guns and bullets, not afraid of difficulties and obstacles, always charging forward, and working tirelessly to achieve national independence and people's liberation reflects the revolutionary motivation of firm belief and sacrifice their lives; during the socialist revolution and construction period, the Communists took active actions for social construction and development with high enthusiasm and tenacious will, demonstrating the construction motivation of self-reliance and hard work; since the reform and opening up, our party has dared to break through the constraints of traditional concepts with the courage and determination to "cross the river by feeling the stones", actively explored a development path suitable for China's national conditions, and reflected the reform motivation of emancipating the mind and forging ahead; entering the new era, facing a new historical mission and many risks and challenges, the vast number of party members and cadres have actively devoted themselves to the torrent of Chinese-style modernization construction with a high sense of responsibility and mission, which shows the motivation to pursue responsibility and action for national rejuvenation. This powerful endogenous motivation inspires the Communists to strive for the cause of the Party and the people, and continue to write a magnificent new chapter on the future journey.

Improve the system and mechanism to provide strong guarantees for party members and cadres to do things and start businesses. Establish a correct orientation for selecting and employing people and identifying cadres in all aspects. We must pay attention to the political qualities and ability to perform duties, and listen to the opinions of the masses widely so that those cadres with sufficient endogenous motivation can stand out. Improve the assessment and evaluation mechanism, comprehensively, objectively and impartially evaluate the performance of cadres' work, and closely link the assessment results with cadre selection, rewards and punishments, so that cadres who want to do things can have a bright future and hope. Improve the fault tolerance and error correction mechanism, clarify the standards and boundaries of fault tolerance and error correction, implement the "three distinctions", support and encourage cadres who dare to take responsibility and do things steadily, and provide strong institutional guarantees for those who do things and start businesses.

Precautions for practical training and enhances practical skills. Deeply implement the new development concept, actively cultivate and develop new quality productivity, coordinate the effective quality improvement and reasonable quantity growth in various fields of development, improve systematic planning capabilities, and exercise capabilities in promoting high-quality development. Be brave to shoulder heavy responsibilities, dare to tackle tough problems, dare to marry dangerous shoals, strive to break through ideological barriers and barriers to solidify interests, seek progress while maintaining stability, upholding integrity and innovation, and temper your will in the fight against reform. Take the initiative to go down, get along with the masses, work hard to solve the urgent problems of the masses with heart, emotion and effort, do the facts to the hearts of the masses, enhance the ability to serve the masses, and improve service awareness in grassroots work. For example, the "Fengqiao Experience" in the new era has been promoted in many places across the country. The vast number of party members and cadres have taken the lead and went to the forefront of grassroots governance, focusing on long-standing shortcomings and problems to seek solutions, truly ensuring that the people have their calls and I have their responses, and enhancing their abilities and building their original aspirations in practice.
