The two won a WTT branch championship in September and participated in regular challenges together. They are currently ranked 86th in the world in the adult category. In the final, Huang Youzheng/Zong Geman faced the strong South Korean combination Wu Juncheng/Park Jiaxian. The Korean pair swept another pair of national table tennis players Wen Ruibo/Qin Yuxuan in the quarter-finals, and defeated the Japanese pair Yoshiyama Ryoichi/Mate Rin in the semi-finals, showing their strong strength. Wu Rongcheng is the son of the famous Wu Shangyin. He is currently ranked 29th in the world in singles. He eliminated the main national table tennis player Wang Chuqin in this year's Asian Championships and has gradually become an important opponent of China.
