The Third Session of the 14th National People's Congress opened in the Great Hall of the People on the morning of the 5th. Xi Jinping and other party and state leaders attended the opening meeting, and Premier Li Qiang delivered a government work report to the conference. The Government Work Report proposes that the main expected development goals this year are: GDP growth of about 5%; urban surveyed unemployment rate is about 5.5%, and urban employment is created more than 12 million new urban jobs.
