Vice Minister of Commerce Sheng Qiuping said at the meeting that from 2024 to 2025, my country will trade in 18.3 million vehicles, of which new energy vehicles account for nearly 60%. A total of 192 million home appliances were traded in for new ones, of which first-level energy efficiency (water efficiency) accounted for more than 90%. The trade-in policy drove consumer goods sales to 3.92 trillion yuan and benefited 494 million consumers.

The growth in consumption of green commodities such as new energy vehicles and green smart home appliances has led to the steady expansion of the green consumption market, a richer supply of green products, continuous innovation in green consumption models, and continuous optimization of the environment for green consumption.
