On December 8, CSSC and China Ocean Shipping Group completed a cooperation contract for a new shipbuilding project in Shanghai, with an amount exceeding 50 billion yuan. This is the highest single domestic cooperation contract signed by a Chinese shipbuilding company. 
Among the new shipbuilding project orders signed that day, the new shipbuilding cooperation involved 87 ships of various types.
The relevant person in charge of CSSC stated that with the global energy technology revolution, the improvement of 5G logistics network infrastructure, and the superimposed role of AI artificial intelligence, the shipping and shipbuilding industries are currently moving towards green and intelligent integration. Next, China State Shipbuilding Corporation will carry out deeper cooperation with China Ocean Shipping Group in the fields of technological innovation, green and low-carbon, smart ships and other fields to provide safer, more efficient and green transportation guarantee for global trade.
