On October 8, with the 1293 China-Europe Express trains loaded with auto parts and daily necessities and other commodities from Erlianhot Railway Port, the traffic volume of China-Europe Express trains exceeded 3,000 this year, 39 days earlier than last year. The Erlianhot Railway Port has been passing through more than 3,000 China-Europe freight trains for three consecutive years.
At present, the number of China-Europe freight trains at the Erlianhot Railway Port has increased to 74, with more than 70 cities in more than 10 countries overseas, and the domestically radiating most of the first cities of China-Europe freight trains. Since the first train was opened in 2013, the port has a total of nearly 21,000 China-Europe freight trains, and the number of transported goods has been significantly upgraded. The proportion of high-value-added products such as new energy vehicles and high-end machinery and equipment has increased from less than 10% in the early stage to more than 40%.
