On June 20, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council held a promotion meeting for the energy and electricity supply guarantee work for central enterprises to celebrate peak summers, mobilizing 18 central enterprises to do their best to ensure energy and electricity supply, to ensure the stable operation of the economy and society and the people to spend the summer coolly.

Faced with the growing demand for electricity, central enterprises have accelerated the commissioning and operation of related engineering projects. In terms of optimizing the allocation of power resources, the first batch of two 1 million kilowatt coal-electric units at the Gobi Energy Base on the northern foot of the Tianshan Mountains in Xinjiang were officially put into production on June 13. The base has achieved high-proportional export of new energy through the "scenic, hot and hot storage integration" model, helping Chongqing to ensure supply of electricity during peak summer.

In terms of demand-side management, in June, the Hubei Electric Power spot market entered into formal operation, and relevant departments made full use of the price mechanism to guide power users to use low prices and stagger high prices.

Shandong Liaocheng vigorously promotes stable supply and increase supply from the supply side: tapping the power generation potential of 19 local power plants to ensure stable power generation during peak load periods; promoting 10 new energy distribution and energy storage to participate in the power market, and giving full play to the role of energy storage power plants as "peak cutting and valley filling" of energy storage power plants.

The energy supply guarantee system with scientific and technological support, multi-energy complementarity, and mechanism innovation reflects the modernization process of energy governance.
