The 4th Ministerial Meeting of the China-Community of Latin America and the Caribbean Countries Forum will be held in Beijing on May 13. On the 11th, Miao Deyu, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs of China, introduced the relevant situation of the meeting to Chinese and foreign media and answered reporters' questions.
Miao Deyu said that this session will pass two outcome documents, the Beijing Declaration and the Joint Action Plan. The Declaration will show the firm determination of China and Latin America in seeking peace, development and cooperation; the joint action plan involves specific measures for cooperation between the two sides in the fields of scientific and technological innovation, economic and trade investment, finance, infrastructure, agriculture and food, industrial informatization, energy development, and jointly building the "Belt and Road", and will guide overall cooperation in Latin America in the next three years.
