CCTV News: On the morning of May 8, the State Information Office held a press conference to introduce the relevant situation of the "Private Economy Promotion Law of the People's Republic of China". Zheng Bei, deputy director of the National Development and Reform Commission, introduced at the meeting that the full text of the Private Enterprise Promotion Law is integrated into the principles of equal treatment, fair competition, equal protection and common development. The National Development and Reform Commission will focus on promoting implementation from the aspects of breaking barriers, expanding space, and optimizing services. Among them, in terms of expanding space, we support private enterprises to actively participate in the construction of the "two-fold" and the "two-new" work, and are accelerating the improvement of a long-term mechanism for private enterprises to participate in the construction of major national projects. The National Development and Reform Commission has launched a number of major projects in the fields of nuclear power, railways, etc. Currently, the private capital shareholding ratio of some nuclear power projects reaches 20%; in the fields of industrial equipment renewal, recycling and utilization, some private enterprises account for more than 80%.
Zheng Bei said that this year, high-quality projects with a total investment scale of about 3 trillion yuan will be launched in key areas such as transportation, energy, water conservancy, new infrastructure, and urban infrastructure.
