Xinhua News Agency, Beijing, May 2 (Reporter Wang Libin) In the first quarter of this year, from offshore wind power generation to marine biotechnology, my country's emerging marine industries have developed in multiple dimensions.
The preliminary calculations of the Ministry of Natural Resources show that the current development trend of emerging marine industries is good. In the first quarter, the marine engineering equipment manufacturing industry maintained rapid development, and the amount of newly received offshore engineering orders increased by 57.1% year-on-year. New progress has been made in the manufacturing of new marine engineering equipment in the fields of marine oil and gas, offshore wind power, etc.
The first 2,000-meter ultra-deep water oil production tree independently developed by my country has been completed. The latest generation of wind power installation ships independently developed by my country, representing the latest generation of wind power installation ships "Zhigao" and "Zhiyuan" were completed and delivered. The OCV sea operating ship No. 1, which covers the dual needs of traditional oil and gas mining and offshore wind power operation and maintenance, has officially started construction in Wuhan, providing a strong support for the development and utilization of my country's deep sea resources.
According to Shi Suixiang, director of the National Oceanic Information Center, domestic marine drug research and development has made positive progress, and the first-class new drug BG136 of immune and anti-tumor marine has started phase II clinical trials; Shanghai Jiaotong University, Chinese Academy of Sciences and others have jointly constructed the most complete deep-sea prokaryotic microbial gene data set to date, and identified representative genomes at the level of 7,564 species, of which 89.4% are new species that have not been reported; the reference chromosome map of the Trispotted Haypsum, a fish, an important drug source economy in my country, was successfully assembled. Research on marine biotechnology has been continuously promoted, and the self-developed dry mulch of whole biological kelp based on seaweed-based has been successfully developed, and new progress has been made in the research on 3D-printed cell cultivation of fish.
