By region, the eastern region achieved operating income of 2715.1 billion yuan, an increase of 6.3% over the same period last year; the central region was 373.9 billion yuan, an increase of 4.1%; the western region was 272.5 billion yuan, an increase of 8.0%; the northeast region was 32.5 billion yuan, an increase of 5.8%.

In the first quarter, cultural enterprises achieved a total profit of 274.4 billion yuan, an increase of 29.1% over the same period last year; operating income profit margin was 8.09%, an increase of 1.43 percentage points over the same period last year. At the end of the first quarter, the total assets of cultural enterprises were 21334.6 billion yuan, an increase of 6.6% over the same period last year; the operating income per 100 yuan of assets was 63.6 yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 0.3 yuan.
