The reporter learned from Sinopec today (December 18) that with the 10-million-ton capacity expansion of Zhenhai Refining and the completion of the high-end new materials project, the total refining capacity of Ningbo has exceeded 50 million tons, marking my country's largest oil refinery in the world. The first-level petrochemical industry base has been fully completed.
As one of the seven major petrochemical industry bases planned by the state, Zhejiang Ningbo Petrochemical Base is located in the core economic area of the Yangtze River Delta. Zhenhai Refining and Chemical is the leading enterprise in the base, with new capacity expansion and high-end new Materials project, covering 18 sets of oil refining and high-end synthetic new material equipment, focusing on extending the development of high-end polyolefins, high-end new materials, high-end chemicals and other products, adding 11 million tons of new oil refining capacity, and providing nearly 8 million tons of related products to downstream customers every year .
The project extensively applies intelligent technology to achieve simultaneous delivery of digital and physical factories, uses a completely independent domestic industrial operating system and an independent and controllable domestic real-time database, and makes in-depth use of the industrial Internet ecological platform. , effectively supports operational decision-making and management. At the same time, the project also innovatively incorporated system-wide energy-saving measures for the first time, reducing overall project energy consumption by approximately 11.7%.
