In the women’s category:

Ethiopia’s Rahma Tusa won the championship in 2 hours, 24 seconds He won the second place with a time of 2 hours, 25 minutes and 41 seconds.

Kenya’s Angela Jemesunde Tanui won the third place with a time of 2 hours, 25 minutes and 41 seconds.

The Beijing Marathon was first held in 1981 and has been successfully held for 42 times. With the continuous development over the years, the event has not only become a competitive palace for top marathon athletes, but also attracted more and more citizens to participate.

This year, the number of applicants for the Beijing Marathon hit a record high. During the three-day registration period from October 2 to 5, a total of 43 countries and regions were attracted. 182,949 long-distance running enthusiasts from the region signed up to participate.
