Recently, the first phase of the Chaoyang section of the approximately 40-kilometer greenway in the Greenway Regional Park was fully opened, attracting cycling enthusiasts.
On the morning of September 23, the reporter came to Dongba Park near the Northeast Fifth Ring Road. Many nearby citizens are riding along the garden road. Each step on both sides of the road is a beautiful scene, with deep and light green dotted with colorful flowers.
Beijing Chaoyang Garden City Demonstration Zone Construction released the Dongba Park of the "Five Townships and Ten Gardens" Chaoyang Greenway.
“You can ride all the way south along the Dongba Park Greenway, which is connected with Beijing Sophora Garden to form a 6.5-kilometer closed loop, breaking the boundaries of the original park fence and forming a complete park green section. It has greatly improved the quality of the slow-moving traffic environment." Li Dapeng, deputy director of the Chaoyang District Landscaping Bureau, said that this section of the greenway is part of the Chaoyang Section of the Greenway in the Green Area Park.
The first phase of the greenway starts from Heiqiao Park in Cuigezhuang in the north, and connects seven parks in five neighborhoods, including Jiangfu Park, Dongfeng Yingbin Park, Dongba Park, and Jingcheng Huaiyuan.

Greenway construction is an important part of garden city construction. These greenways not only connect parks, water systems, communities, and culture , sports, business districts and other various places, each with its own characteristics, is deeply loved by citizens.
