The reporter learned from China Shipbuilding Corporation that today (April 15), the world's largest 24,000-box-level dual-fuel powered container ship was officially delivered, once again breaking the record of my country's dual-fuel container ship construction. After delivery, the ship will be used for cargo transportation on Far East to Europe routes.

The world's largest dual-fuel powered container ship delivered today can carry 220,000 tons of cargo at a time, and the stacking height of about 24,000 containers is equivalent to 25 floors. It is called the "super cargo king" at sea. At the same time, this type of ship also uses green fuel, liquefied natural gas as power, which can provide the ship with an ultra-long range of nearly 20,000 nautical miles per voyage.

Wang Jiaying, director of the China Shipbuilding Group's Hudong China Marketing Department, said that this ship is the most advanced in the world. Its characteristic is that it uses liquefied natural gas as the source of power, which is cleaner and more environmentally friendly. Moreover, its packing volume is also the largest in the world, greatly improving the efficiency of shipping and its economy.

Experts told reporters that China has set new records in the field of container ship construction - from 21,000 boxes to 23,000 boxes, and then to the 24,000 boxes delivered today. As the ship is built larger and larger, the construction cycle is getting shorter and shorter, which is a reflection of China's shipbuilding capabilities.
