The latest value-added tax invoice data of the State Administration of Taxation shows that in the first quarter of this year, my country's manufacturing sales revenue increased by 4.8% year-on-year, accelerating by 0.9 percentage points compared with 2024. The high-end and intelligent manufacturing industry accelerated its development, showing many highlights.

VAT invoice data shows that in the first quarter, my country's sales revenue of high-tech manufacturing and equipment manufacturing increased by 12.1% and 9.7% year-on-year respectively, accelerating by 3.1 and 3.5 percentage points respectively compared with 2024. Among them, the sales revenue of computer manufacturing, communication equipment manufacturing, and electronic industry special equipment manufacturing increased by 29.8%, 17.8% and 16.4% year-on-year respectively, reflecting that my country's manufacturing industry continues to move towards the mid-to-high-end value chain, and the high-end development of manufacturing industry is accelerating.

At the same time, the intelligent upgrade of manufacturing industry is obvious. In the first quarter, sales revenue of digital product manufacturing increased by 12% year-on-year, and the amount of digital technology purchased by manufacturing enterprises increased by 8.7% year-on-year, reflecting the rapid advancement of digital transformation in manufacturing. The sales revenue of the smart device manufacturing industry increased by 13.2% year-on-year, of which industrial robot manufacturing, intelligent vehicle equipment manufacturing, and service consumer robot manufacturing increased by 12.4%, 26.5% and 55.4% year-on-year, respectively, helping the manufacturing industry accelerate the pace of intelligent upgrading.

In addition, the green transformation of manufacturing industry is progressing steadily. In the first quarter, sales revenue of high-energy-consuming manufacturing accounted for 29.2% of the manufacturing industry, down 1.4 percentage points from the same period last year, reflecting the obvious results of carbon reduction and emission reduction. The amount of environmental governance services purchased by manufacturing enterprises increased by 13% year-on-year, accelerating by 4.6 percentage points from 2024, reflecting the continued increase in investment in green governance.

A relevant person in charge of the State Administration of Taxation said that the tax department will further implement various tax and fee preferential policies to support the high-quality development of the manufacturing industry, rely on tax big data to deepen and expand "policy finding people", optimize tax payment services, actively respond to corporate demands, and actively help manufacturing enterprises transform and upgrade to high-end, intelligent and green.
