On April 14, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Lin Jian presided over a regular press conference. A reporter asked, some of the US tariff-increased policies are exempted and some of them are tax-increased. How do China comment?
Lin Jian said that facts have and will continue to prove that there are no winners in tariff wars and trade wars, protectionism has no way out, and the United States abuses tariffs to harm others and themselves. We urge the US to give up the wrong approach of extreme pressure and resolve problems through dialogue on the basis of equality, respect and reciprocity.
