Winter wheat in various places has entered the critical period of field management. More than 33 million mu of winter wheat in Hebei began to grow. In Handan, the local area relies on the intelligent irrigation Internet of Things system for field management and integrated equipment, farmers can remotely accurately irrigate and fertilize and operate scientifically on their mobile phones. At present, 81 counties (cities, districts) in Hebei Province have built and applied such smart agricultural systems. More than 43 million acres of winter wheat in Anhui are about to be headed. In Fuyang's high-standard demonstration fields, large-scale self-propelled sprayers can complete fertilization and irrigation of 800 acres of wheat fields in less than three hours. This year, Anhui will invest 1.2 million sets of various agricultural machinery and equipment (sets) to ensure spring plowing and spring management.
The production progress of southern early rice is accelerating. Nearly 90% of the early rice seedlings in Guangdong have been planted in 13.07 million mu. In the thousand-acre rice fields in Dalian Village, Qingyuan, through measures such as selecting rice seeds and reasonable dense planting, each mu of land is expected to increase production by more than 10%. In Wenzhou, Zhejiang, the new generation of plant protection drones can complete the aerial sowing of more than ten acres of early rice seeds in ten minutes, which greatly improves efficiency and saves more than 60% of labor costs.
The breeding and seedling breeding work in various places is progressing steadily. Shandong invested 480 million yuan in fiscal funds to support seed industry research and development, deep processing and other fields. This fresh corn breeding and R&D base located in Qingdao has developed fresh corn such as "three seasons a year" and "two crops a year", which can increase the income of growers by an average of about 1,000 yuan per mu; in the intelligent seedling base in Beidahuang, Heilongjiang, the newly introduced sports seedling equipment operates in a multi-level cycle, which can allow rice seedlings to fully receive light, and the neatness rate of seedlings reaches 95%; in Tieling, Liaoning, the seedling greenhouse with automatic temperature control and sprinkler irrigation system can significantly improve the seedlings' resistance to diseases and pests. At present, the rice seedling area in Liaoning Province is 32,000 mu, one-half of the plan has been completed.
