During the holiday period, the Ministry of Commerce focused on monitoring retail enterprises' sales of home appliances, communication equipment and automobiles increased by 21.6%, 15.1% and 8.6% respectively. From the beginning of this year to April 6, 683,000 subsidies for automobile scrapping and renewal subsidies were applied for, and 1.369 million applications for automobile replacement and renewal; consumers purchased 35.155 million units of 12 major household appliances, driving sales of 122.83 billion yuan; consumers applied for 64.866 million subsidies for purchase of three digital products in mobile phones, tablets, and smart watches (bracelets).

The necessities of daily necessities are sufficient and the prices are stable. According to business big data monitoring, during the holidays, the 200 large agricultural and sideline products wholesale markets nationwide had sufficient inventory of grain, oil, meat, poultry and eggs; the prices of grain, oil, pork, beef, mutton, vegetables and eggs were basically the same as before the holiday. During the Qingming Festival holiday, the passenger flow of 50 pedestrian streets and business districts monitored by the Ministry of Commerce increased by 6.9% year-on-year.

The latest statistics from the Liaoning Provincial Department of Commerce show that during the Qingming Festival holiday, a total of 104,000 people in Liaoning Province participated in the consumer goods trade-in activity, with the subsidy amount exceeding 90 million yuan, and the consumer goods trade-in to new products driven sales of related products by nearly 620 million yuan.

During the Qingming Festival, Liaoning Province has sold more than 2,800 cars for old-for-new cars, more than 47,000 home appliances for new products, more than 43,000 mobile phone purchase subsidies, and more than 8,500 home decoration kitchen and bathroom for new products. Among them, subsidies for home appliances with first-level energy efficiency and water efficiency account for more than 80%.

In terms of automobile sales, major automobile brands have also continued to promote consumption through the "combination punch" of "subsidy investment + corporate concessions + activity empowerment", and the store's customer flow has significantly increased. Since the beginning of this year, Liaoning's consumer goods trade-in sales have exceeded 1 million units.
