CCTV News: In the first two months of this year, my country's electronic information manufacturing industry grew rapidly, exports continued to rebound, and the overall development trend of the industry was good.
Since this year, all localities have increased their efforts in innovation and research and development in the electronic information manufacturing industry. The latest data shows that from January to February this year, the added value of my country's large-scale electronic information manufacturing industry increased by 10.6% year-on-year, with growth rates of 4.7 and 1.5 percentage points higher than that of industrial and high-tech manufacturing industries in the same period.
Specifically, among the main products, the output of microcomputer equipment was 47 million units, a year-on-year increase of 7.2%; the output of integrated circuits was 76.7 billion units, a year-on-year increase of 4.4%.
At the same time, exports steadily rebounded. From January to February this year, the growth rate of export delivery value of large-scale electronic information manufacturing industries increased by 10.7 percentage points compared with the same period last year. Among them, the number of exported products of laptops and integrated circuits increased by 16.5% and 20.1% year-on-year respectively.
At present, my country has proposed and formulated more than 120 international standards in the field of electronic information manufacturing, and the international influence of the industry continues to increase. At the same time, the role of industry empowerment has been continuously enhanced, and products and solutions for typical application scenarios in the fields of education, energy, medical care, transportation and other fields are emerging at a faster pace.
