On April 5, the national railway is expected to send 13.55 million passengers, and plans to add 622 passenger trains.
The railway departments of various regions have carefully organized holiday transportation, increased capacity deployment in popular directions, sections and time periods, increased station and train service guarantee, and improved passenger travel experience. The Shenyang Bureau of the State Railway has added 34 passenger trains, re-operated 108 EMU trains, and added 90 ordinary passenger trains; the Xi'an Bureau of the State Railway has arranged for the "Flower Appreciation Special Train" of the Xicheng High-speed Railway to facilitate passengers to enjoy flowers and outings in Hanzhong, Chenggu, Yangxian and other places; the Chengdu Bureau of the State Railway has organized young volunteers to provide "one-on-one" full-process guidance and assistance services for silver-haired passengers and people who are out of the network; the Urumqi Bureau of the State Railway has set up a comprehensive service area of "Tianshan Snow Lotus" at key stations, providing wheelchairs, mother-child rooms, emergency medicine boxes and other convenient services.
