During the Qingming Festival, the National Railway Hohhot Railway Department actively took a number of measures to stimulate the consumption vitality of "rail + cultural tourism" and provide tourists with a convenient and comfortable travel experience.
Wuhai Lake, as an important inn on the migration channel of migratory birds in western Inner Mongolia, attracts a large number of tourists and photography enthusiasts to come here for a walk during the Qingming Festival holiday every year. The National Railway Hohhot Bureau has added 2 pairs of intercity trains in the Wuhai direction and expanded 4 pairs of ordinary-speed trains to provide sufficient capacity guarantee. At the same time, the railway department has optimized the boarding and landing organization, added ticket sales, security checks and manual ticket checks, and opened convenient green channels for group passengers to ensure smooth travel for passengers.
The railway transportation period will last for 5 days from April 3 to 7. During this period, the Hohhot Bureau of the National Railways is expected to send 739,000 passengers, an increase of 3.5% year-on-year.
